Palladium owner Gina Capra used her creativity to enhance the beauty of others. Setting no limits to her dreams she set out to create the perfect salon, in 1998 Gina started her business in a garage in her parent’s home in Groenkloof. The skills that she had acquired through Toni & Guy and passion for hairdressing coupled with the motivation that is expressed by Gina to all who know her, resulted in her salon at the Brooklyn Plaza. Gina increased her staff of 4 to 8 and quickly had outgrown her premises, due to huge success. The salon was then relocated to Waterkloof Heights Shopping Centre, and has evolved into the beautiful and contemporary Palladium of today.
When Gina decided to start Palladium Hair salon in January 1997, she knew exactly what it should not be – not just another hair salon that caters for numbers, Gina preferred quality of work, client experience and atmosphere. Passion for people and hairdressing, from the outset, provided the salon with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, while individual creativity blossomed. Clients could relax and enjoy themselves in an upmarket, vibrant environment.
Palladium‘s highly trained staff is the group of professionals that have remained dedicated to continually raising their standards. They believe hairdressing is an art form and their approach to the medium and textures of hair, which this art form presented, was always progressive and multidimensional.
What conspired is the expression of Palladium Hair Co. 13 years later. Palladium focus has evolved into an experience of completely reforming the traditional salon and has defined its present culture and experience, through the influences of fashion, a sophisticated service experience, and product excellence; leaving one helpless to returning to the socially vibrant nature of The Palladium Experience.

Palladium proudly announces the opening of their second salon in Cape Town, at The Cape Quarter Piazza in the viby suburb of De Waterkant, on the 1st October 2009. A state of the art architectural wonder brings a new fresh contemporary look to the Cape Town scene. The salon is a synthesis of swooping shapes, magnificent views over Cape Town, outdoor areas and a combined floor area with the funkiest Coffee Bar/patisserie/ gelateria in Cape Town BICCCS.
